When was the first time you heard about Kachingle? What were your thoughts about it?
There was a report on Kachingle on Ö1 “Digital Leben”, as we always want to try out new digital possibilities, we were keen to see the service in action
What is your favorite feature of Kachingle?
That it has to be activated only once and works automatically from there on
What do you think is missing?
An option to distribute the importance of visits to a site, i.e. I want a visit to Wikipedia to be twice as worthy as to another site.
Do you think the world is ready for saving the Open Web? Or is it too early? Or are people too selfish?
People aren’t too selfish but they have to be reminded of their engagement.
Which sites are you kachingling the most and why?
I try to activate the service wherever I see it, as it keep track of which sites I visit anyway.
Why do you love Kachingle?
Kachingle want to make a difference. It wants to give the users a possibility to appreciate the richness of the web and support their favorite sites.
