Do you love having free information and resources on the Open Web?
Help it stay free!
With a $5/month Kachingle account you can effortlessly provide small amounts of your real money to the creators of the free websites, blogs, and web apps that you value.
Join the movement started by people who care — people like you — to voluntarily support the Open Web. If millions of people do this, at just 17 cents/day by each person, the web will stay free for everyone.
With the launch of Kachingle Anything! you can request that any online content or web application be quickly added to Kachingle.
No longer do Kachinglers have to patiently wait until their favorite blogs, or websites, or web applications join Kachingle and install the Kachingle Medallion (widget). With Kachingle Anything! you can easily submit the web address (URL) of your favorite online digital stuff to the Kachingle network.
So, think about it….which are the free online websites, blogs, video channels, photo channels, slide channels, web apps that you just can’t live without, but that could use a bit of financial support? That you would love to tell your Facebook and Twitter followers that you, a great citizen of the Open Web, voluntarily support?
Most online free stuff is not making sufficient money thru ads to stay in business. Imagine the free stuff you love gone, or stuck behind a paywall
Keep it free by simply going to the Kachingle Anything! tab on Kachingle.com, tell us its web address (URL), and then support it and everything else your love thru your monthly kachingling.

Questions and Answers (detailed stuff for those of you want to know everything about Kachingle Anything!):
Q: What types of online stuff can be kachingled?
A: Just about anything! It can range from a huge news website, to a single blogger on the Huffington Post. A single YouTube, Slideshare, or Flickr channel. Any blog on WordPress, Blogger, Posterous, Tumblr, etc. Any great web application. A non-profit website chock full of useful info. It’s totally up to you…just go to Kachingle Anything!, and it will be added to the Kachingle network.
Q: How do the websites, blogs, web apps get paid?
A: We find contact information for each content and app producer. If there is an email address, we pay them thru PayPal. If not, we mail them a check. [PayPal has a unique system by which anyone can be paid thru their email address...they do not have to already have a PayPal account.]
Q: What if the content or app producer refuses to accept Kachingler contributions?
A: This is unlikely, since free money from avid fans is rarely turned down, but if the money cannot be distributed to the producer those funds are put into a pool and delivered to a specific charity that is part of the history of Kachingle (see the Terms of Use for the details). So far only two sites, out of approximately one thousand, have declined to accept the money so we do not believe this will be a common occurrence. However, if the percentage rises above 1% we will develop the capability to return undeliverable money to the Kachingler for redistribution.
Q: Do I have to be a member of Kachingle to request a site, blog or web app be added to Kachingle Anything!?
A: No, anyone can request an addition using Kachingle Anything! If you supply your email address you will be notified once it becomes part of the Kachingle system. Kachinglers will automatically see the new site, blog , or web app when they visit it because they have installed KachingleX, a simple browser extension that makes the Kachingle Medallion visible anywhere.
Q: Who can install KachingleX – the browser extension that displays the Kachingle Medallion (widget) on all sites in the Kachingle network?
A: Anyone can install KachingleX (you do not have to join Kachingle to do this.) It takes less than one minute and is available for Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome, and Safari browsers.
Q: Is there a free trial or experimentation period with Kachingle? I’m not sure I want to commit to $5/month.
A: Yes, there is a one month free experimentation period where you can kachingle all you want without paying. At the end of that period, you can review the sites you decided to kachingle and determine if spreading $5 across them is what you want to do. If yes, you will be asked to start a $5/month PayPal or credit card subscription. You can cancel at anytime. Kachingle is a completely voluntary system where you are in charge.
Q: Have any sites, blogs and web apps already been added via Kachingle Anything?
A: Yes, many have already been added. For the complete list visit All Sites on Kachingle.com. But what’s important is the sites, blogs, and web apps YOU love get added. So please tell us which they are via Kachingle Anything!
Q: I have more questions about Kachingle. Where can I find answers?
A: The Kachingle.com Homepage, About, and Help sections have lots of information. Or you could just signup and try it out! Still not sure? Contact customercare@kachingle.com.
